Comments: Charles Gardner reported in July 2018 that the tree is dead. He is pretty sure it was winter kill. there is some sucker growth at the bottom but tree is dead otherwise. Old information: Some dead wood is present probably due to severe winters in the past but it seems healthy. New species.
