2022 update: Tree is very healthy and is not threatened in any way and is in a protected, favorable location. Trunk forks into two stems just about ground level. May have comprised three or more trunks at one time. Each stem was measured at 4.5' above ground to calculate trunk composite circumference shown here. Stem 1: 44". Stem 2: 55". Previously measured in 2012 by Greg Zell at 52", 47', 44', 110 points.

2012 update: Large specimen growing on private property in the Palisades section of Arlington. Double-trunk tree measured at 1' above the ground, below the trunk fork. Renovation or new construction could endanger tree, but it is currently healthy.
