2022 update: Tree was visited in September 2022 and discovered to have been destroyed when another tree fell down on it. Dead snag had been lying on the ground for several years. State champion at the time of its death.

2014 update: Has a split trunk. Measured at 6" above ground line. The tree appears healthy and sound. Fruiting. The owner plans to remove some of the competing vegetation.
