Comments: Dense crown of vigorous branches, although some patchy dieback of branches is present throughout the crown. Located in the same orchard as the former state champion of the species. Identification of plum species is quite difficult in the absence of flowers and fruits. Thus identification of this tree as garden plum is tentative until further information becomes available. Trunk circumference was measured at smallest girth below a low branch between ground line and 4.5' above ground.
