Comments: This tree was first nominated in 1986, and was planted by world travelers, M/M. George M. Judd, promoting Shenandoah National Park. Tag #15 found in tree in 2009. 2018: Appears healthy. Becoming overtopped and crowded on the sides by competing trees and shrubs. Tree appears to have 6 stems forming the main trunk with 2 side stems. Only the group of 6 were measured for circumference.
