Comments: Tree was in declining health in 2009. Land owners reported that the tree had blown down when they were contacted about it in late 2019. Nearby historic house was named by the original owner just after the battle of Saratoga, to celebrate our country's decisive victory during the Revolutionary War. Thomas Jefferson stayed at the house when he was designing Buckingham Courthouse. Measured by William S. Hubard in 1988 at 108", 57', 50'.
