2023 Comments: Largest stem has died. Multiple small sprouts remain.
2007 Comments: The larger Chinkapins in this area all show decline or death due to chestnut blight. The largest tree we found was totally dead. The largest stems are the first to die. Last measured by Carmean and Williamson at circumference 17", height 39', crown 15', 60 total points.
