2023 Comments: One of the stems has died and deteriorated due to chestnut blight.
2007 Comments: Chinkapins in this area are seriously affected by the chestnut blight. The largest stems are most involved and many are dead or in the process. Measured by Carmean and Williamson at circumference 21", height 35', crown 21', 61 total points.
