Comments:
2017 comments: It is currently infested by web worms. The trunk forks into two large limbs about 3 ft above ground level. I measured the smallest circumference below this fork.
2007 comments: The tree is in a pasture on the side of route 605. It appears healthy, although a smaller one nearby died recently. It could be endangered by work on the road, but widening is unlikely as it carries less than 50 vehicles per day. It is very close to VA-605, so may actually be owned by VDOT.
