Comments: The tree is in a pasture on the side of route 605. It appears healthy though a smaller one nearby died recently. It could be endangered by work on the road but widening is unlikely as it carries less than 50 vehicles per day. 2017: It appears healthy though a smaller one nearby died recently. It could be endangered by work on the road but widening is unlikely as it carries less than 50 vehicles per day. It is currently infested by web worms. The trunk forks into two large limbs about 3 ft above ground level. I measured the smallest circumference below this fork.
