2021 update: In April 2021, Robbie Lewis noticed that it appears a few years back they cut the older multiple stems back to stump level. At this point all of the growth is in several hundred sprouts 2" to 4" in diameter, and overall it has a rounded, bush appearance. Overall height is 10' to 12'. Former state champion.
2008 update: The tree looks healthy but its height is reduced from time to time to improve view. It is multi-stemmed.
