Comments: A triple-stemmed tree that appears very healthy and sound. Deceased former owner, Evelyn Gray, referred to it as the "Trinity Tree". The tree resides on land known as Bermuda Hundred, reported to be the first incorporated town in the English colony of Virginia, founded in 1613, six years after Jamestown. There is an extensive Wikipedia article about Bermuda Hundred. Tree last measured in 2008 by Carmean, Williamson, and Gray at 302", 99', 105', 427 points.

A challenging tree to measure due to triple-stem. The stems share a fused common trunk above ground line, but impossible to determine if they share a common pith. This growth habit is common for the species. Other large specimens in the register have been measured at narrowest common girth near ground line, so same was done for this tree. Individual trunks measured 4.5' above the root collar were 139", 161", and 169".
