Comments:
2025 comments: Google Street View from August 2024 shows that the tree has fallen over.

2020 comments: Tree has declined and suffered some dieback or storm damage on the southwest side of crown. Epicormic sprouting is heavy on trunk and is being invaded by vines. Trunk girth measured at 4' to avoid burls and sprouts that would inflate measurement.
2019 comments: Tree ascended to throne of state champion in 2016 when the former champion died back severely. Lost title in 2019 when larger tree found in Craig.
2010 comments: Measured in 2010 by Byron Carmean, Gary Williamson, and Jeff Kirwan at 159", 83', 68', 259 points.
