Comments:
2022 update: Examination of US Geological Survey laser scan (LiDAR) of the tree captured in 2020 resulted in an adjustment of height and crown spread. The tree's location on a steep river bank made ground-based measurement difficult in the past, leading to slight errors. Height measured in 2018 was 108' and crown spread was 97'.
2018 update: Continues to thrive in this protected location. Carmean, Williamson, Kirwan measured in 2011.
