2025 comments: This tree became the new state champion in 2025.
2021 comments: The tree is in fair condition. Buttress roots on driveway side of tree are dead. A large limb appears to have been lost in the upper canopy with significant decay at that point. The canopy is overall thin and lacking in vigor.
Tree was previously measured by Byron Carmean, Gary Williamson and Jeff Kirwan at 102", 59', 66', and 178 points in 2011.
