2022 update: Tree recently lost a leader (decay is evident). Leader breaking out broke original support cable; larger and thicker one re-installed. Fungus present on root flare. Pruned heavily (topped) because of dangerous split leaders cracking in January of 2021. Pruning to reduce weight on leaders severely decreased crown spread and height. Trunk Circumference was measured from 4.5' above groun outside the cinderblock ring (flat ground away from root plate).
2012 update: The tree appears exceptionally healthy and sound. Measurements by Byron Carmean and Gary Williamson: circumference 221", height 98', crown 99', points 344.
