Comments:
2022 update: Since the original measurements, the tree has suffered some damage. Previously a multi-stemmed trunk, it has now been pruned to a single trunk. There are dead limbs, but the tree is in a protected yard and cared for by the CW Certified Arborist and his staff. This is the only possumhaw identified in Colonial Williamsburg. Trunk circumference measured at 24" above ground.
2012 update: The tree shows signs of age, but appears healthy and safe. Measurements by Byron Carmean & Gary Williamson: circumference 32", height 27', crown 37', points 68.
