2023 Comments: Tree is located in clear view in a hay field on the former land of Countess Judith Gyurky, whose colorful story about the history of Hungarian Warmblood horses and their introduction to America on this farm has been detailed in the book, "Mark of the Clover".The upper portion of the crown exhibits signs of dieback. There are also sucker sprouts. Most of the newer tree leaves are located in the lower 1/3 of the crown. Trunk circumference measured at 1.5' above ground due to multiple leaders.
2013 Comments: The tree is very healthy, and under a careful care regimen. Circumference 145 in, height 60 ft, crown 51 ft, 218 total points. Measured by Lisa Hogan and family.
