2024 comments: Tree is in decline. Lots of dead limbs, lower branches removed.
2020 comments: Beautiful specimen in front of the Giles County Country Club. Has some dieback but is otherwise healthy. Large branch broke out some time ago. Height was likely overestimated when originally measured in 2014. Measured by Leighton Simonton and John Peterson at 187" trunk, 88' height, 84' crown, total of 296 points.
2014 comments: Last Measured by Giles Co. 4-H forestry camp (2014): Circumference 182", Height 96', Crown 80', Total Points 298.
