Comments:
2024 comments: Tree continues to thrive. Trunk divides into two leaders at 4' above ground. The leaders are of similar height, but one is notably larger in diameter than the other. The secondary leader appears stunted, perhaps due to competition for space and light from neighboring trees slowing down its growth rate over several decades. Trunk measured at 4.0' above ground at narrowest girth below the fork in the trunk. A beautiful king snake was found near tree during measurement.
2014 comments: The tree appears healthy and sound. Measured in 2014 by Byron Carmean and Gary Williamson at 130" trunk, 116' height, 62' crown, 262 points.
