2026 Comments: Tree previously comprised two stems that forked at ground level. When facing lake, the lower leaning stem on the right has died and decomposed. No updated photo obtained. Trunk measured at 4.5' along the main axis.
2024 Comments: Recognized as national co-champion with another tree in the same location.
2015 Comments: Declared national champion in 2015 and recognized as national co-champion in 2019 with another specimen in the same location. It appears healthy and sound. It is a member of a a large stand at this location. Previously measured by Byron Carmean and Gary Williamson - Trunk: 6", Height: 14', Crown: 14', Total Points: 24.
