Comments:
2025 comments: Volunteer Rudy Delsack went to recertify the tree and found that it was dead. A large rotten stump remained. It looked like it had been cut, so the county may have felled it out of concern for hazards due to weak stems and decay.
2015 comments: A very healthy multi-stem hackberry, with a very large crown. Within weeks of nomination, the larger of the stems split and fell, reducing the tree height to 106' feet.
