2025 comments: The tree was very healthy. A lateral branch has sheared off on the south aspect, but its loss did not affect score and currently poses no serious risk to the overall vitality of the tree. The trunk has a low branch that obstructs trunk measurement at 4.5' above ground. Measurement used here is 2' above ground at the narrowest girth between the branch and the ground. Trunk measurement above the branch (at a height of 5'2") was 191".
2015 comments: Large tree growing in Purcell Park next to a small recreational lake. Tree is healthy and in very good condition. First measured in 2015 by Greg Zell and Jeremy Harold, it possessed a circumference of 213 inches, height of 80 feet, and crown of 90 feet for a total of 316 points.
