2026 Comments: Despite being located in a parking lot, the tree is healthy. It is cared for by Colonial Williamsburg's certified arborist and staff. Since the tree has four trunks, each trunk was measured separately at 4.5' above ground and used to calculate the composite trunk circumference reported here.
2016 Comments: This species is of conservation concern. This tree was planted by the Colonial Williamsburg grounds manager years ago. The tree has multiple trunks. Previously measured by Byron Carmean, Gary Williamson, John Bunch - Trunk: 36", Height: 29', Crown: 34', Total Points: 74.
