2025 comments: The tree remains healthy and sound. Grows close to the other bigleaf snowbell (ID 2436) listed in this area. Trunk measured 4.5' above ground.
2020 comments: Declared national champion in 2020. Dethroned as national champ in 2021 by larger tree in Suffolk, VA.
2016 comments: The tree appears healthy and was in full bloom on the day of measurement. Measurements by Byron Carmean and Gary Williamson were 8", 19', and 14' for 31 points.
