2024 comments: Tree leans heavily from riverbank, but continues to hold onto the soil and stay upright. There is some crown dieback evident. Leaning trunk measurement modification used. Tree is leaning over the Potomac River on a steep slope, making it difficult to measure the height and crown.
2016 comments: The tree is very healthy. Measured by Bob Vickers in 2016 at 32" trunk, 51' height, 18' crown, totaling 88 points.
2010 measurements: Greatest size was in 2010: 28" circumference, 60' height, 24' crown, and totaling 94 points.
