Comments:
2025 comments: The leaves on this C. tenuifolia are much smaller and a mottled yellowish-green compared to the neighboring specimens. The bark is very smooth, and typical warts are scarce. It also has a tall, straight form with limited crown spread unlike the others. Aside from its unusual characteristics, it appears to be in good health.
2017 comments: The specimen appears to be healthy and well cared for in a safe environment. This tree was noted by MacMillam in a 1960 inventory of trees at the Arlington National Cemetery and has grown very little over the past 57 years. Two other C. tenuifolia are growing near this specimen. The measurements conducted by Greg Zell were 61", 46', and 33' for a score of 105 points.
