Comments: Typical specimen of the species. Several stems emanating from a large root crown where numerous stems have come and gone over the years. Trunk circumference was measured at 4.5' above ground on the largest stem and height was measured on this same primary stem. Crown spread was quite asymmetrical. Included in the spread was the large subordinate sprout shown in the photo.
