Comments: The tree was declining until 4 years ago when we removed the dead central leader. We left the remaining 3-4 shoots to continue to grow. We measured the largest of the shoots. It is marked with orange tape in the photo. The tree was planted in 1990 in light shade, but the surrounding trees have grown in around it.
