Comments: Tree is clearly an older specimen. It is completely hollow in the trunk and has two halves which are partly separated. It appears relatively healthy for an older specimen. It appears to have been in an overall open position most of its life, which explains it’s shrubby growth habit. The species has become invasive in the area. Circumference was measured at 1 foot above ground, due to abnormal splitting of the species.
