Comments: Tree appears very healthy and is in good condition. There are several other large oaks nearby in the pasture (the largest of these measuring 252" in trunk circumference.) The property dates back to the 1800s, and the owner informed us that troops camped on the grounds during the Civil War, possibly taking shade underneath this tree.
