Comments: In 1995, William Hubbard reported the tree was healthy and not endangered. In 2006 the tree's circumference was remeasured by big tree enthusiast Beau Hooker at 130". First measured in 1995 at 162", 42', and 68' for score of 221.
2016 update: A large horizontal branch was removed from the tree in recent years. There is some die back in the tree; overall the tree is in good condition.
