Comments: This huge specimen is right next to another huge loblolly pine (id 3045) that was also nominated. The huge tree is located on a wooded embankment within a cove of the 96-acre Mariners' Lake. The root zone is within the waters of the lake cove. The tree is very healthy and vigorous.

To locate this tree; take Warwick Blvd. to Avenue of the Arts...to Museum Drive. Follow Museum Dive to Boundary Road and turn left onto Boundary Road. Follow Boundary Road to a mid-point and turn left into William's Field. On the backside of the field will be the sloped woodline for this tree location. Follow GPS coordinates to location.
