Comments: This huge specimen is right next to another huge loblolly pine (id 3044) that was also nominated. The tree is very healthy. The root zone of the tree is within the freshwater of Mariners' Lake. The canopy is spread out over the lake cove and was photographed with a drone and measured with a laser device.

Follow Boundary Road to a mid-point and turn left into William's Field. On the backside of the field will be the sloped woodline for this tree location. Follow GPS coordinates to location.
