2025 comments: This tree is an incredible example of its species. It grows in a ravine between hay fields and should remain safe. To avoid the flair of the trunk, the trunk circumference was measured at 3 feet above ground level, and the height was measured at 200 feet away via clinometer and verified with USGS Lidar.
