2025 comments: Largest summersweet clethra ever seen by nominator. He has counted trunk rings on ones half this diameter that were 20 years old! Good health. Tree has a significant lean. Appears to have partly uprooted. A lateral branch is now growing vertically and constitutes the tallest part of the tree.
