2026 Comments: Tree appears healthy. Multi-stem growth habit comprising 4 primary stems with common trunk base. Bark injury on stem 4. Stem 3 has caused injuries to stems 2 and 4 from crossing and rubbing. Tree had a heavy infestation of Japanese beetles this year. Each stem was measured separately at 4.5' above ground to calculate the composite trunk circumference. Stem 1 (leaning east): 24', Stem 2 (leaning north): 18", Stem 3 (leaning north, smallest stem twisting around stems 2 and 4): 11", Stem 4 (leaning northwest): 21".
