2025 comments: The tree remains in good condition, but seems to have thinner foliage than it had previously. The trunk circumference was still measured at 1 foot above the ground.
2015 comments: The tree is still thriving, and it has grown a good bit. Measured by Greg Zell, with measurements of 170", 40', & 61' resulting in a score of 225 points.
2006 comments: Very large sweeping canopy. Very regal looking. Was cabled many years ago. Located on the homesite of landscape architect Milton Meade Palmer. Has been at location as long as many can remember. Measured by Terry Lasher at 159", 31', 66', 207 points. Trunk measured about 1' above ground due to low branching.
