Comments:
2020 comments: Very impressive specimen. Precise history of tree is unknown, but dendrochronologists dated the pith of the trunk to 1819. It appears to remain healthy with little dead wood visible. One major leader was lost to storm damage sometime in the past decade. The crown is also partially cabled. It is on a regular treatment program to control emerald ash borer.
2006 comments: Measured by Jeff and Judy Kirwan at 212", 107', 74', 338 points.
