Comments:
2025 comments: Tree suffered storm damage in 2019. Central leader was broken and had to be removed by arborists. The remaining crown is asymmetrical, being much taller toward the street than near the house. Remaining crown is healthy, but crown stability may be a future concern. Trunk grew rapidly since 2015 measurement, but height and crown width were impacted by the storm damage.
2015 comments: Tree is growing in front yard of house in small rural community of Scottsville along the upper James River. Specimen appears to be healthy and there are no known threats. Measured in 2015 by Greg Zell at 172" trunk, 85' height, 84' crown, and 278 points.
