2022 update: The main stem appears to be in decline. However, a lower side branch is upturned and exhibits the characteristics of a competing main stem.
2012 update: 2012 measurements by Landon Webb: Circumference: 79". Height: 73'. Crown: 42'. Points: 163. Tree was nearly lost to construction of slave quarters reconstruction. Tree appears healthy. Height measurement from 2012 (82') was found to be erroneous after several years. During that time the tree was incorrectly recognized as the state champ.
2004 update: Measurements in 2004 were 73", 77', 34', 159 points.
