2018 comments: The tree appears to be in decline. Some large limbs are dying and there are signs of decay in the trunk. There is still a lot of vigorous growth on the live limbs. The crown spread is a bit limited by pruning for a power pole.
2007 comments: The tree seems reasonably healthy, but does have some decay near its base. Carmean and Williamson measured in 2007. 171", 83', 66', 271 points.
