Comments: The tree is healthy and well cared for. It is the larger of two at this address. Dethroned as state champion in 2019. It is an open-grown tree in a large, well-cared for lawn. The Chinafir next to it is in decline and likely will soon be gone. The tree was featured in a Suffolk News Herald articles in June 2009 after being nominated to the register. Tree circumference was taken at 2 feet above ground level just below where the fused trunk diverges into several upright stems.
