2024 update: Recognized as national co-champion with trees in Philadelphia, PA and Smyth County, VA.
Declared national champion in 2017. The tree appears healthy and sound. It should be in a safe area. Trunk forks at 5' above ground, so trunk measured below the fork, avoiding the bulge in trunk. Two root suckers at base of trunk.
