Comments: This tree was originally nominated in 1981 as a shining willow with 161 total points. Tom Wiebold tentatively identified it as a coastal plains willow, pending specimens with buds, in 2009.

2019 update: A visit to the tree in April 2019 by Greg Zell found the tree to be mostly dead with only a few epicormic sprouts near the base of the trunk still bearing life. Not likely to recover.
