Comments: Virginia Dept. of Forestry has been working with Langley Air Base to preserve some rare pumpkin ash on their land. They have been treated with insecticide to prevent infestation by emerald ash borer, and Langley is dedicated to keeping them treated. This is one of several pumpkin ash in the same grove and similar in size.

Directions: Trees are located in Langley Eustis Base land in Yorktown, Virginia behind the Kiln Creek Shopping Center. Site is extremely wet and floods regularly. Please park on Commerce circle. You do not need to cross Brick Kiln Creek to find trees. You will also not have to go through the main base to access these trees.
